2020: Deployment of complete software solutions of eWAS
On July 15, 2020 the SITA company announced agreement signature with the German airline Condor in the field of aviation technologies. Cooperation will allow to enter improvements to fuel expense optimization due to deployment of complete software solutions of eWAS with the assistance of more than 700 pilots and managers.
The project includes delivery applications eWAS Pilot and eWAS Dispatch. As the severe weather phenomena become more frequent, eWAS Pilot provides forecasts and data observations on a basis satellites that will allow crews of Condor to warn adverse situations and to create more economic plans of flights with flexible opportunities.
Thanks to air traffic optimization the German carrier will also manage to ensure safety and wellbeing of the passengers, pilots and crews. Besides, it will be simpler to company to conform to requirements in the field of environmental protection due to decrease in impact on ecology, reduction of unnecessary fuel consumption and time constraint on turnover of aircraft engines. Thereby the company will be able to provide economy of fuel and expense reduction.
The eWAS Dispatch system developed in cooperation with managers will allow to upgrade workflow and to provide the same graphically optimized data and information in real time that pilots give, improving processes of interaction between dispatching offices and cabin crew.
