2020: Start of service for creation of the cryptocurrency plastic cards MasterCard

In the middle of July, 2020 the payment platform of Wirex announced that it will become the first cryptoprovider participating in the MasterCard Accelerate program. Her members will be able to create the plastic cards by means of which it will be possible to buy, store and spend both fiat, and digital currencies.

Cooperation with Mastercard will allow Wirex to issue payment cards directly thanks to what clients will receive convenient service in use with low costs and high speed of transactions. Clients of Wirex will have an opportunity to instantly buy, store, exchange and spend traditional and digital currencies on one platform. The cryptocard will be available to the European clients in 2020. Money withdrawal in the international ATMs will be free, and means will always come to MasterCard network in Fiat. Up to 1.5% of purchase in bitcoins will return to the account through the loyalty program of Wirex Cryptoback.
