2020: Announcement of the solution for distributed file systems and management of storage
On July 20, 2020 the Hitachi Vantara company announced the solution for distributed file systems and management of storage. It will allow customers to accelerate an information access and to take knowledge during the work with unstructured data, such as e-mails, documents, medical records, audio-and video records, images. The solution will be provided in partnership with Weka company. This is the developer of storage systems of files for the information environments performing processing of large volumes of data. OEM partnership with Weka will allow to fill up Hitachi Vantara product assortment with parallel file systems based on NVMe which will be integrated with HCP data warehouse. This solution on the basis of network system of storage (NAS) will be suitable for use in the systems of artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytical applications in the different industries.
