Technoserv accepted in the cloud the producer of timber – SLDK

2020: Placement of a part of IT infrastructure

On July 23, 2020 the cloud provider announced Technoserv the beginning of cooperation with the Russian company on production of timber − to SLDK.

Technoserv provided "Virtual infrastructure (IaaS)" based on the virtualization platform of VMware for placement of a part of IT infrastructure of SLDK. The service will allow the company to store and process the large volume of information in a cloud, at the same time to save financial resources on creation and service of own DPC and also creation and support of an internal system of data protection. Placement in a cloud to especially profitable geographically distributed companies which all divisions receive high-available uniform IT infrastructure.

When choosing cloud provider of SLDK it was important to provide fault tolerance of IT systems and uninterrupted access to IT infrastructure. Therefore Technoserv connected to the customer Internet access through alternative channels. In case of interruptions in communication or problems with the equipment, information is broadcast from the reserve router or a host. For complete risk minimization, the viruses connected with penetration, program failures and emergencies, SLDK selected service of "Backup". The client can independently configure the backup schedule using a web panel in a personal account.
