2020: Transfer in a cloud of CloudMTS of key IT systems

On July 24, 2020 the company "MTS", the Russian the company on providing digital, media and telecommunication services, announced transfer in cloud provider CloudMTS key IT- the systems of the Russian branch of the international service company "Evrop Assistans of the CIS". On the basis of cloud computing of MTS work of all accounting division which services Russia also the CIS countries is organized. Including virtual work places are provided to employees. Transition to a cloud provided continuity business processes, raised security and the minimum for 25% accelerated work of specialized IT systems.

According to the company, in a cloud all IT infrastructure of accounting division is placed: programs 1C, databases, file systems, information and consulting services necessary for accounting work and also internal infrastructure services. Monthly in cloud IT systems hundreds of finance documents are processed.

Using cloud computing of MTS virtual work places for remote work of accountant officers who have access to all necessary systems from any place are organized. The Active Directory services which are responsible for the centralized access and authentication of users in programs and applications are also transferred to a cloud. Safety of remote access is ensured thanks to own communication channels of MTS and also VPN technologies which allow to integrate corporate network with cloud infrastructure, using the protected connections and protocols. With the help a backup services of MTS the possibility of operational application recovery and databases is implemented.
