On July 27, 2020 the Rostelecom company announced project completion on implementation in the system of PJSC CB Center-Invest of a complex of software and hardware tools which increase reliability of transfer of biometric these clients. A system conforms to requirements of the Central Bank of Russian Federation and other national standards for ensuring data protection.

During start of a Single biometric system in 2018 for work of secure channels of communication there were enough software packages. However the sphere of cyber security – for July, 2020 one of the most developing: the amount of risks and threats is multiplied every day, and security systems become outdated. For July, 2020 for a long-term outlook enciphering hardware and software systems with the increased cryptofirmness are implemented. Yury Bogdanov, the chief innovation officer of Center-Invest bank explained

According to the company, the biometrics allows banks to lower costs, and for the population does financial services more available, without binding to physical office of bank and an operation mode.

Process of registration of the client in base and removals of biometric data will take no more than five minutes. The employee of the bank at personal presence of the individual will check its passport and the Insurance Number of Individual Ledger Account, will register the client in the Single system identifications and authentications (if the client is not registered on Gosuslug portal) and using the special equipment will take off necessary biometric data: will photograph and will record a voice.

Storage personal data provides Rostelecom as the operator of EBS. At the same time biometric data are separately from passport: the functionality of banks in interaction with a system includes only collecting, the protected transfer and verification of data.

Using biometric identification banks offer clients an opportunity to open the account, to make transfer and to take the credit. Sergey Mordasov, the director of the Rostov branch PJSC Rostelecom commented
