2020: Compatibility with Astra Linux Special Edition release Leningrad 8.1

Astra Linux Group and her official partner the joint-stock companies "Akvamarin research and production center completed development of a series of tests of the prototypes confirming correct work notebooks based on Russian processor "Elbrus-1C +" under control of operating system a special purpose Astra Linux Special Edition release Leningrad 8.1. It became known on July 29, 2020. This OS is certified according to requirements security of information FSTEC Russia to operating systems of type "A" of the 2nd class of protection and security requirements information FSB and Russian Defense Ministry to the information security facility.

Aquamarine: The protected notebooks based on Elbrus-1C +

The device has the Elbrus-1C + microprocessor from the Russian producer JSC MCST installed on the motherboard created for this notebook by specialists of SPC Aquamarine. Two domestic solid state drives separate storage of the operating system and data of the user. The screen of 15.6 inches in size with the resolution of 1920×1080 pixels differs in the increased brightness, wide angles of the overview and is closed by the brightened-up cover plate with an antiglare covering. The tightness and durability of the body correspond to a class of protection IP65 that provides protection against a rain, the increased dust content, humidity, vibration and blows. Tests confirmed that prototypes are capable to work at a temperature from −20 with °C up to +55 °C, and the body bears single mechanical blow of 490 m / с2 (50g) and sinusoidal vibration of 19.6 m / с2 (2g) in frequency range from 1 to 60 Hz. The notebook supports independent operation within three hours thanks to two rechargeable batteries. The order of their operation traces the special algorithm providing serial power consumption.

Thus, Aquamarine notebooks are completely adapted for the Russian operating conditions and conform to the set standards. Product quality is controlled at all development stages and production then is confirmed by tests in own accredited test center.
