2020: Entry into the market of Novex with functions of Smart TV and 4K
On August 3, 2020 the M of Video Eldorado group announced TAdviser expansion of production of the equipment under own trademarks. M.Video under the Novex brand begins sales of TVs on average a price segment with demanded functions of Smart TV and 4K at the affordable prices on the multimedia platform of Yandex.
Earlier the company started production and sale of TVs under the Hi brand in Eldorado. According to positioning of each of networks, in Eldorado buyers will find budget TVs, in M.Video of model from a mid-price segment with relevant technologies. For the beginning of August, 2020 the range of Novex turns on 11 models of TVs with diagonals from 24 to 65 inches.
The average cost of Smart TV with a range of diagonals of 30-44 inches in the Russian market is about 20-22,000 rubles, the price of TVs of STM "M.Video" with diagonal is 43 inches 17,990 that is 20% cheaper due to local development and production.
In M.Video two Novex TV models on the Yandex media platform with diagonals of 43 and 65 inches, the price – 17,990 and 34,990 rubles are available. "Smart" TVs have permission 3840x2160 (4K UHD), the thin body with optical depth of 20 mm, a high-contrast matrix, the built-in satellite DVB-S2 tuner, support voice actuation and the HDR10 and HLG standards.
The content platform from Yandex company working based on OS Android (the open version Open Source of Android Project is used), gives to users the chance to watch more than 200 TV channels Yandex. Air, movies and series from a media library online movie theater Kinopoisk of HD, rollers with YouTube and also to seize other opportunities of the "smart" TV having access in internet via the module Wi-Fi.
