MDT "Digit" developed the draft of the concept of transition of the Aeroflot Group on domestic software

2020: Project development of the concept of transition on domestic software

On August 3, 2020 the consulting company JSC MDT Tsifra announced participation in upgrade of programs of transition to primary use of the domestic software (further - software) the companies of the Aeroflot Group and developed the draft of the concept of transition for each company of the Aeroflot Group.

Specialists "MDT "DIGIT" booked audit of the existing information landscapes of each company of the Aeroflot Group and the used software (more than 1000 nomenclature units), and offered techniques and the corresponding mathematical tool for justification of the concept and programs of transition of the companies of the Aeroflot Group on domestic to software and also a project portfolio for providing indicators of such transition.

As a result of performance of work a number of the optimization measures increasing efficiency of process of import substitution of software taking into account the specifics of the international business of the companies of the Aeroflot Group, industrial standards and industry regulations regulating their activity was offered. Parameters of assigned tasks conformed to the set requirements of the regulator and the directive of the Government of the Russian Federation.

In the course of execution of works by specialists of MDT "DIGIT" the tasks characteristic of implementation of similar large-scale projects were solved obstacles and barriers are revealed, actions for their elimination are offered. The analysis showed that in an IT landscape there are no completely domestic stacks of technologies, and business needs of the Aeroflot Group require existence in the application software of non-standard set of functional modules.

To perform work in a short time MDT "DIGIT" involved the selected team of industry experts working on the project in full time the mode having necessary examinations in data domain.

In the course of work specialists of MDT "DIGIT" used a set of own techniques for the solution of the tasks set by the Aeroflot Group.

As a result of multiple factor analysis the register of the software products and information systems which are subject to substitution and also the list of products which substitution at the current stage is impossible and also the road map and economic indicators of import substitution was defined. Also consultants analyzed a status of the Unified Register of the Russian software (further – ERRPO) and revealed the software products reasonable for use in specific information landscapes.

The main result for us is the created concept of transition of all companies of Group on domestic software, and a ready project portfolio for accomplishment of indicators of this transition, – Kirill Bogdanov, the deputy CEO for information technologies, PJSC Aeroflot says. – We are aimed at accomplishment of assigned tasks based on the existing IT infrastructure, and took a major step on the way to execution of requirements of the regulator about transition on use of domestic software.

Regardless of a stage of transition to primary use of domestic software at which there is this or that company multiple-factor audit of an IT landscape and finding of the weighed indicators of effektivnost, updating of a status and project management of transition is necessary – Dmitry Smirnov, the CEO of JSC MDT TSIFRA comments. – For the purposes of import substitution it is important to organize elimination of barriers to joint work of foreign and domestic software, including formation of test environments. As further steps of increase in efficiency of the program of transition it is possible to designate registration of custom and own software in ERRPO and its patenting and also development of recommendations about improvement of a system of accounting of software due to creation of a digital medium of the company.
