2017: Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 for trade-in operator
The main task of the Russian representative office of Belmont Trading is to record incoming mobile devices according to the trade-in model. The company's corporate culture requires the use of international software. Moreover, Microsoft Dynamics NAV operates in the American office. Therefore, the Russian representative office opted for this system.
Awara IT's competence in implementing Dynamics NAV for global international companies helped Belmont Trading to launch the system in a short time and flexibly adapt it to the volatile requirements of complex logistics processes.
The Russian division has implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 with licensing according to the subscription model. The system reflects the key business process of the company: through the partner network, mobile devices are sorted by type of damage, then they are evaluated/diagnosed using specialized software, after which they go to scrap or for implementation.
Successfully solved tasks:
- logistics Modules and warehouse, accounts payable, accounting, finance assembly/disassembly have been implemented. The system maintains accounting and tax records.
- Integration with Belmont Trading partner accounting systems, through which data on incoming devices is received - data for each device is scanned and automatically entered into NAV. Simple intuitive interfaces have been developed for warehouse employees. These web interfaces speed up device reception and minimize the risk of information loss.
- Automated acceptance of devices - accounting of pallets and boxes, unpacking, sorting.
- Analysis of mobile devices - data for each device after barcoding is included in NAV.
- Shipment - printing of documents from the system for customs services.
Most of the implementation work has been completed, the Awara IT team is actively involved in supporting and further developing the project.
