2019: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Implementation for Russian Division Management

The global project to transfer all Van Rees Group divisions to a single system ended with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in the Russian office.

It was necessary to reorganize the procurement, sales, production and finance processes in accordance with the group's policies, to include the Russian office in the group's management reports, while providing it with tools for generating financial statements according to Russian standards.

To transfer the daily operations of Van Rees Russia to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, it was necessary to adapt the regulations of the Russian representative office to the existing processes of the head office.

In this project Awara IT , the team solved the problem of localizing and adapting the solution to the specifics of accounting account based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

In a single solution, it was necessary to combine three components: the standard functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, the features of the DycoTrade solution, as well as the standard Russian local functionality. The decision allowed the company to get away from the need to keep records in two systems and convert data from another system to provide management reporting to its head office.

The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 allowed the Russian office to maintain advanced analytical accounting of deliveries and blending through the use of the new functionality of supply management, production and subcontracting, and also automated the maintenance of intercompany operations for deliveries between the company's divisions and the Russian office.
