Marker-Interfax is a system for monitoring and analyzing the procurement market, which combines and analyzes data on procurement, customers and suppliers from more than 300 trading platforms. The system allows you to monitor trades and evaluate sales potential in various market segments, and is also a tool for controlling purchases.

Merge under the brand "Marker"

On December 24, 2020, Interfax Group announced its decision to combine all its information and analytical services for customers, suppliers and supervisors working with data on government and commercial procurement, including the SPARK-Marketing service, under the Marker brand.

During 2021, all Interfax profile services will receive a modernized user interface that will simplify and accelerate the work of controlling and auditing purchases, analyzing and justifying prices, identifying conflicts of interest, finding and evaluating potential customers and suppliers.

The changes will affect, in particular, a specialized solution - the Control module for control and supervisory authorities, which will also become part of the Marker product line. As of December 2020, this module is an integral part of the SPARK-Marketing system launched in 2012, many federal departments have already become its users.

The module automatically identifies more than 80 indicators of possible violations of the law when conducting procurement procedures under 44-FZ and 223-FZ. After the merger of Interfax services, the analytical capabilities of the digital inspector will be expanded by indicators that take into account recent legislative changes.

{{quote 'Over the past 9 years, services for suppliers, buyers and supervisors have become an independent development area in Interfax. Given the rapid digitalization of business during the pandemic, its significance has grown many times. The name "Marker" best reflects our main task - to help market participants find, highlight, evaluate important information in a huge array of "big data" about purchases. To do this, we will continue to develop Marker, primarily as a powerful analytical solution, "said Evgenia Bengina, head of the Marker-Interfax project. }}

The updated line of Marker-Interfax services will include two systems with web access - for analysis, procurement control in various sections and for managing the business processes of tender departments of supplier companies, as well as APIs for integrating data on procurement procedures and their participants into internal systems of companies.

Opening of a system

On August 6, 2020, Interfax Group announced the opening for customers of the MARKER information and analytical system (formerly SPARK-Marketing) of access to an updated procurement performance analysis service for 44-FZ and 223-FZ.

The service analyzes "big data" on public procurement and on their basis automatically calculates key indicators of procurement performance necessary for effective control.

Auto-reports with indicators of procurement efficiency make it possible for control and supervisory authorities and government customers themselves to quickly assess savings, the level of competition and the share of low-efficiency purchases - by region, industry and specific customers.

The service is built on the basis of current practices and methodologies of control and supervisory bodies used during the control and audit of purchases under 44-FZ and 223-FZ.

Our updated service is the result of Interfax's active cooperation with control and accounting bodies of all levels and is aimed at digitalization, improving the system of state and municipal control and supervision in the field of procurement. We are developing Marker-Interfax as a practical solution that allows us to conduct deep analytical work in the markets of goods and services: to study historical data, compare prices, assess the level of competition, look for signs of potential violations, "said Evgenia Bengina, head of the Marker-Interfax project.
