2020: The announcement of joint creation of commercial 5G network in Thailand

ZTE Corporation signed the partnership agreement with True Corporation Public Company Limited (True) for the purpose of creation of commercial 5G network in the territory of Thailand. It became known on July 30, 2020. The licensed Thai operator True locating 30% of shares of regional mobile communications market is going to create own 5G network using products and services 5G RAN from ZTE.

The number of products which under the terms of the agreement the Chinese developer will provide True will include macrostations 5G 64TR/32TR/8TR/4TR and also one - and the multirange room modules QCell. This equipment will allow the operator to create complex high-performance 5G network with three frequency ranges of 700 MHz, 2.6 GHz and 26 GHz.

Being characterized by a small delay time, the maximum number of channels and high capacity, products 5G from ZTE will help the Thai company to increase quickly the capacity of the wireless network and service quality of subscribers thanks to what True will be able to create the best 5G network as of 2020 in Southeast Asia.

Since 2019, ZTE cooperates with True within carrying out different technical tests. Together the partner companies executed verification of numerous products 5G, including the 64-channel modules Massive MIMO of 3.5 GHz and 2.6 GHz and also QCell of 2.6 GHz.
