On August 7, 2020, Synerdocs announced that Leipurien Tukku, a supplier of "tasty and useful solutions" for bakery and confectionery enterprises, food industry organizations, small businesses and the HoReCa segment, has abandoned paper delivery notes in deliveries between warehouses.
LLC "Leipurien Tukku" is a Finnish company-distributor of food raw materials with a local production site. Its client network includes production and trading platforms in Russia - from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk.
In recent years, the supplier of "tasty solutions" has paid special attention to optimizing document flow. The task is relevant at least because the payment for the provided transport services depends on the timely receipt of signed copies. Calculations in the company take place only according to the originals, and many forwarding partners submit UPD, acts, invoices, forwarding receipts and power of attorney through EDM systems. The bill of lading remained the only document exchanged on paper.
First of all, the document flow in transportation between warehouses was automated - and the sender and recipient in such movements is Leipurien Tukku LLC. As part of the transition to electronic waybills, the company developed an interaction scheme that determined the sequence of signing documents in digital form.
The next stage was the connection to the exchange of the main counterparties - freight forwarders and warehouse service providers. Explaining the advantages of switching to ETrN, the company received a positive response from the majority of exchange participants. For freight forwarders, the undoubted plus of electronic interaction is the saving of time, the absence of errors in the execution of invoices and the timely return of documents to the office.
The company also studied the legal significance of digital document management and the practice of submitting an electronic bill of lading to tax authorities. According to the explanations of the Federal Tax Service, ETrN can be unloaded from the EDO service without problems and submitted to the Federal Tax Service. There were no cases of refusal to accept documents drawn up in electronic form.
The company plans to build EDOs for all inter-settlement movements. These works are planned to be completed by the end of summer 2020 and proceed to the exchange of electronic consignment notes with customers when delivering raw materials.
