Ukrpochta becomes the center of rendering state services in all Ukraine

On August 7, 2020 it became known that Ukrpochta becomes the center of rendering public services for all Ukraine. The mail operator agreed about cooperation about the Ministry of digital transformation of Ukraine. Department reported about it on the page on Facebook.

Main objectives of partnership of Mintsifra and Ukrpochta are connected with digitalization of the mail sphere and also availability of state services in the whole country, including the remote villages. The ministry specified tasks:

• introduction of instruments of reliable and convenient identification of clients of Ukrpochta through the integrated system of electronic identification;
• providing public public services using the centers of providing administrative services, remote jobs of administrators, mobile the center of providing administrative services (CPAS) and mobile departments of Ukrpochta;
• development of the innovative technologies in the mail sphere;
• improvement of positions of Ukraine in rating electronic participation of the UN.

Ukrpochta will become the main center of rendering state services in all Ukraine

In August, 2020 Ukrpocht started the project of mobile departments in 7 areas of Ukraine. Now localities in the Kiev, Transcarpathian, Cherkassk, Chernivtsi, Kherson, Odessa and Chernihiv regions will service Fiat Doblo. Taking into account the cars which are already working in the Chernihiv region the total number of cars will reach 640 units.

These mobile departments will work in villages about less than 2000 inhabitants. The project concerns more than 26 thousand localities and more than 10 million inhabitants. There are no banks (they are to 6% of localities), there are no drugstores (they are to 20-25% of localities). According to the head of Ukrpochta Igor Smelyansky, mail carriers, even in the conditions of absence of the Internet and mobile communication, will bring modern services there. And cooperation with Mintsifra will expand a range of state services.^[1]
