2020: Updating of the "1C: Payroll and HR Management" system

Corus Consulting Group announced on August 13, 2020 transfer of personnel processes of Akvafor company, international producer of the professional and household equipment for water purification, on the latest version of the 1C: Payroll and HR Management 3.1 program. As a result of upgrade of IT solution Akvafor improved business processes of salary accounting and accelerated formation of the regulated reporting in the field of personnel management.

The international company "Akvafor" specializes in production of sorbents, household filters for water and the industrial systems of water purification for commercial enterprises. The company for August, 2020 releases more than 400 product names and works at 60 sales markets worldwide. The research centers, laboratories and production sites Akvafor are located in Russia and Estonia. In staff of holding more than 3000 people who are responsible for development, production and sales of products work. Constantly growing number of employees of different qualification and specialization requires from the company special attention to the organization of personnel records.

To increase efficiency of personnel office-work and to correspond to the current changes of the legislation at execution of documentation and reporting, it was decided to update the "1C: Payroll and HR Management" system on the version of the 1C: Payroll and HR Management 3.1 program. Upgrade of IT solution took place in three legal entities "Akvafor" at once: at the central office, the trading company and more than 1,000 people work at the production site in the Leningrad Region – all in them. For project implementation the CORUS Consulting IT company having practice on product introduction of 1C was selected.

In the project salary accounting had key value. Owing to production specifics, Akvafor uses practically all types of accurals of wages. Therefore from specialists of Corus Consulting it was required to configure all connected business processes, including transactions of deduction, taxes and contributions. Regarding personnel records work with documents for payroll is automated. Within the project the basic functionality of the platform is expanded and a number of the completions allowing to hand over non-standard reports on electronic communication channels is executed.

The project was implemented in a short time – in 3.5 months. Then within two months specialists of Corus Consulting within technical support trained users and helped to adapt to a system. Besides, at this stage integration of a system into the 1C: Accounting platform was executed. Now all data on salary payments are transferred to "1C: Accounting" automatically that allows the company to keep continuous accounting.

In a project deliverable we implemented effective objectives: improved a number of business processes, removed routine tasks from employees. The updated system considers changes in the Russian legislation and supports the corporate Akvafor standards. It was important to us to expedite the project – and the command of Corus Consulting coped with it, – Natalia Ovcharenko, the Chief information officer Akvafor comments.

When implementing the project we were faced by a task as much as possible to use standard functionality of a system. Such approach accelerates an implementation time and facilitates problems of support in the future. Akvafor is the company which quickly develops.
