2020: The Ministry of Health submitted recommendations about categorization of objects of KII in health care
In the middle of August, 2020 Russian Ministry of Health published methodical recommendations about categorization of objects critical information infrastructure (CUES) in health care.
State bodies, public institutions, the Russian legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to whom on the property right, leases or on other legal ground belong the information systems (IS), information and telecommunications networks, the automated control systems (ACS) functioning in the field of health care treat subjects of KII in the field of health care, according to Federal law No. 187-FZ "About security of critical information infrastructure of the Russian Federation".
On August 17, 2020 the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications issued the document describing procedures of categorization of objects of KII, the recommendation about execution of data on results of categorization, the recommendation about security of significant objects of KII after completion of categorization, the list of the organizations of health sector to which the scope of these methodical recommendations, recommendations about formation of the permanent commission on categorization of objects cues of the organization of health sector, examples of the information systems, information and telecommunications networks and automated control systems functioning in the field of health care extends.
As notes the D-Russia edition, these recommendations are applied along with the methodical documents defining an order of categorization of objects of KII, developed by the executive authority authorized in the field of security of KII (FSTEC of Russia) and also executive bodies of the government of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of health protection.[1]
