2020: Adjudgement for rendering low-quality cosmetology services

On August 17, 2020 Savelovsky Court of Moscow sentenced Natalya Korostelyova to 5.5 years of standard regime penal colony for rendering low-quality cosmetology services because of which patients got different injuries.

According to the evidence, Korosteleva and two of her assistants Ekaterina Egorova and Saniyat Yaikbayeva from 2007 to 2015 rendered services in correction of the person in Moscow. Women had no necessary education, and they showed to potential clients counterfeit diplomas.

Accomplices packed up substances which were entered into fabrics on syringes before acceptance in the premises unadapted for this purpose. Medicines at the same time had no registration certificate. Examination established that criminals stuck to the clients biopolymer which usually is not used in cosmetology: it does not resolve, and hardens because of what the person is spoiled.

According to the investigation, as a result of manipulations of 19 clients received "indelible changes of the person and psychological traumas".

Ekaterina Egorova and Saniyat Yaikbayeva got off with probations — in 12 and 8 months with probation periods in 1.5 and 1 year respectively. Convicts were recognized by guilty persons under the Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "The Rendering the Services Which Are Not Meeting Safety Requirements of Life or Health of Consumers, Made by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert".

According to RIA Novosti, from Korosteleva collected moral compensation — about 2 million rubles. This amount will be distributed among injured women.

Komsomolskaya Pravda writes that Natalya Korostelyova did not regret court. The woman persistently was repaid also accomplices and assured that she did all correctly. But proofs was enough. All 19 injured women gave evidences in court. They asked as it is possible to punish the pseudo-cosmetologist more strictly.[1]
