2020: WDT LoRa 433 L20
On August 21, 2020, EKF introduced the WDT LoRa 433 L20 wireless modem, designed to transmit data between two or more devices over long distances using LoRa technology with transparent operation.
The modem is a compact, low-power device. It has a data encryption and compression function, which ensures reliable information exchange. The FEC algorithm optimizes signal encoding. The transmitted data packets retain integrity even after interference occurs, which increases the reliability and range of communication, EKF emphasized.
The modem has standard RS-485 and RS-232 interfaces and can work with any equipment that has the same interfaces. For example, with multifunctional measuring devices (MFD) from EKF - digital programmable devices designed for measuring and monitoring network parameters with simultaneous display of measured values and data transmission. Modem can transmit information from MFD to server or PC.
Among the features of the modem:
- Universal DC 8-28V power supply
- operating frequency - 410-441 MHz (by default - 433 MHz);
- transfer of information at a distance of up to 3 km in open space without obstacles;
- Data transfer is free and secure.
"A wireless modem will be an effective solution for internet of things when it is necessary to transmit information in small volumes, for example, "smart" home to or automated commercial electricity metering systems ones (ASCUE)," said EKF Director of Strategic Development. "The Dmitry Kucherov device will be especially relevant for places where you do not have the ability to lay a wire or do not have access to." Internet |
