2020: Start of Google Career Certificates - the program of express training of IT

At the end of August, 2020 Google announced the new training program, which received the name Google Career Certificates. This set rates should help users to receive necessary qualification in highly paid and fast-growing areas, without visiting the university. Rates last about six months and will cheaper cost traditional training in college.

Senior vice president for world communications of Google Kent Walker (Kent Walker) noted that the company will consider new certificates as a diploma equivalent about four years' education at the university for corresponding positions. The alternative offered Google is not new, but as the name of the company became nominal, its certificate for certain will accept in all companies and the industries in the same way as the diploma large university.

However, many candidates doubted that employers on advantage will estimate the program of certification of Google. The program was even called "monetary racket", reasoning it with what not all graduates will receive work in Google, and the rest should return to college. That calm doubts, Google founded consortium from more than 50 employers who are ready to employ graduates of the program certifications of Google. The consortium already includes Walmart, Intel, Sprint, Bank of America, PNC, Best Buy, H&R Block, Hulu, Infosys and Sam's Club.

Google claims that its programs of certification "do not depend from products of Google also should help people to find work in any company and in any sector". The company invites employers of any size with different requirements to hiring to submit the application for accession to to consortium. The accepted companies will get access to exclusive lists on employment will also participate in interviews.^[1]
