2020: Optimization of technology of video streaming

On August 27, 2020 the multimedia service Okko announced partnership with Bitmovin, the supplier of video infrastructure for the digital media companies, and Teleport Media, the developer of the decentralized video push technologies. Partnership will allow to implement a broad spectrum of technological solutions for Okko.

As it was explained, Okko together with experience and the Bitmovin and Teleport Media tools will be able to provide more technological stream data transmission. Bitmovin will provide the solutions allowing to transfer content of Okko at once to several devices and platforms with the greatest possible speed and at smaller capacity.

Working with Bitmovin over integration of permission 4K Dolby Vision and also optimizing the existing content for viewing in format 4K and HD, Okko will offer video permissions for wide audience.

Okko will also apply an algorithm of coding of files Bitmovin allowing to optimize image quality at reduction of requirements to capacity.

Thanks to solutions of Okko will be able to provide more UHD content for Smart TV and other devices.
