2020: Connection of 78 schools

As a result of the won competition and the contract with the Ministry of digital development and communication of the Novosibirsk region signed on its basis RTKOMM connected access to the satellite Internet to 78 schools in hardly accessible regions of the subject. Announced this RTKOMM on August 31, 2020. It will help pupils and pedagogical staff of educational institutions to begin academic year in the planned mode, at the same time with the whole country.

Besides, the schools located in hardly accessible areas of the Novosibirsk region, using the satellite Internet included in uniform infocommunication space will have an opportunity of flexible response to various external scenarios and initiatives – from the organization of distance learning at emergence of such need, before gaining access to electronic educational content and services on an equal basis with city dwellers.

The CEO of RTKOMM Sergey Ratiyev commented:

PTKOMM will readily provide satellite solutions for implementation of any large-scale state projects and, including, for an experiment on creation of a digital medium of the education providing opportunities for school students and teachers in remote and hardly accessible regions of our country.

Technical solution of RTKOMM allows to provide schools with the broadband satellite Internet using the special filtering protecting pupils from an inappropriate content.

Services of Internet access from RTKOMM for schools of hardly accessible areas of the Novosibirsk region are provided using satellite devices "Express-AM-5" and Yamal-601.
