At the beginning of September, 2020 it became known of implementation of RFID solutions at Tver Carriage Works. The project was implemented by Aytiproyekt company based on the software ITProect RFID Platform.
The system of radio frequency identification (RFID) which was started on the largest in Russia the enterprise for production of different types of cars of locomotive draft provided automatic monitoring and tracing of a process flow of process of SKD of carts and passenger and mail cars.
The technology completely covered technology build process from welding of a frame of a body to an exit of the ready car. Tracking of a process flow begins in frame and body workshop with welding of a frame and a body. Here on a body of the car UHF a RFID tag of SMARTRAC Frog 3D in which using the desktop readers Nordic ID Sampo the unique identifier registers fastens and the software ITProject Tracking System becomes attached to entry in the database.
Especially for this project in Siltek company the protective body label with a connector collar was to order developed and made for the RFID tag attached to a car body. Such solution allowed to protect a tag from potential damages during its migration on a process flow, keeping primer, coloring, drying, etc. and to exclude need to remove it.
After assembly the ready body of future car goes to the following workshop for primer and coloring, and then is farther on a technology chain. Before the car is ready, it should pass several production stages. A RFID system running the software of ITProject RFID Server fixes movement of carts and cars on a process flow, deviations from a process flow and stay time at each stage of a production chain.[1]
