2020: Choice of a cloud platform and supercomputer of Sberbank digital basis of лесвосток.рф service

Sberbank reported on September 3, 2020 that together with and Fund of development of the Far East and the Arctic (FRDV, is included into the ВЭБ.РФ Group) agreed about technical cooperation in a scope of digital products and use of cloud computing within the project of creation of лесвосток.рф Internet service.

In particular, for ensuring work of service it is going to use a cloud platform of Group Sberbank of SberCloud and also the supercomputer of Sberbank of Kristofari which for September, 2020 takes the 36th place in the list of the most productive supercomputers in the world.

The management system for a forest complex and development of forest infrastructure is created at the request of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev. Project Objectives: creation of conditions for sustainable development of forestry and the wood-processing industry, formation of open public data and procedures of providing in use of the timberland, implementation of mechanisms of exchange biddings, creation of infrastructure for formation of the public market of transactions with wood.

Cooperation will provide opportunities for processing of huge data arrays. In particular, we will be able to analyze in a complex space pictures of all woods of the Far East using artificial intelligence technologies with frequency of times in each 72 hours. It will allow to perform operational monitoring of forestry and to timely prevent illegal cutting.
