2020: Development of mobile application of NV HOME

On September 7, 2020 it became known that IT- the company TAD Development completed the project on development mobile application of NV HOME for the company NAVIgard working at the market of security systems. Thanks to technologies mobile and IoT- developments the solution provides for users secure remote access to a system smart house.

As the technology partner on the project the TAD Development IT company having examination in the field of solutions for the smart house was selected. Having studied requirements of Navigard and also trends and perspectives of development in the market of IoT for the next 5 years, analysts of the IT company offered as a technology platform essentially other framework of development of hybrid applications of Ionic. This technology allows to use the same code for Android, iOS and in web clients, and use of asynchronous interaction gives to users the chance to see current status of objects in mobile application at any moment and without additional data-refresh.

Mobile application of NV HOME provides control of actuators from any place in the world: gate, locks, lighting, heating, electric devices and many other. Users can check at any time a status of all objects, remotely deliver or remove from protection both all object, and separate sections. At smoke, a water leakage, a gas leak and also at critically low or high temperature in the apartment or the house, its owners instantly learn about it by means of the push-notification.

The developed product allows to manage flexibly operation of devices in the smart house. So, for example, users can turn on the device only for a certain time after which it will automatically be switched off.

Development of IT solution happened to use of methodology of Scrum. After each iteration of Navigardu intermediate results thanks to which the company could make corrections timely were shown.

We began application programming with small lag from the market, however it allowed us to work more qualitatively possibilities of the solution and to make a backlog on the future. The application turned out multifunction and simple in use. In it there is an event log, actions and alarms: that there are houses, who and when turned on devices, delivered on protection and many other things. Moreover, management of the smart house well at once for several users with an opportunity to browse actions of each other: which of family members changed the status of the section, turned on or turned off signaling and other, – Alexander Dorofeyev, the director of Navigard LLC notes.

IoT-technologies together with the concept of the smart house have high potential in order that people saved time, effectively consumed resources, ensured safety and increased the level of comfort of life. The number of the connected objects grows every year, so, before business there is more and more sharply a need to create the software capable to connect objects within one interface for convenient and mobile management.
