100 million rubles will select for implementation of the first stage on implementation of an intelligent transport system in Tatarstan". About it became izevestno on September 7, 2020.

State Budgetary Institution Bezopasnost dorozhnogo dvizheniya became the customer of works. Funds for creation of a system will be allocated from federal and regional budgets within the national project "Safe and Qualitative Highways". The system design should come to the end no later than November 20, 2020, and is going start it till December 1, 2020.

At the first stage there will be a process automation on a road network in the Kazan city agglomeration. On the next stages scaling of a system is planned for other agglomerations of the region. Earlier the total cost of all system was estimated at 370 million rubles. Using an intelligent transport system monitoring of a road situation will be conducted and also the relevant services will be able quickly to react to non-staff situations.

The ITS should include modules which will allow to control almost all events on roads:

• traffic control of public transport,
• management of a roadwork,
• issue of transport permissions,
• performance monitoring of technical means (to it, for example, it is possible to carry video cameras),
• the centralized informing participants of the movement,
• configuration of parking space.

Besides, in Tatarstan are also going to create the center of monitoring and the warning system for professional drivers In June, 2020 of State Budgetary Institution Bezopasnost dorozhnogo dvizheniya ordered creation of the center of scheduling, monitoring and control of transport (TsDMU) for 131 million rubles.

The center should supervise the systems of meteomonitoring, monitoring of parameters of traffic flow and also informing participants of traffic. For this purpose on 15 sections of roads in Tatarstan will set automatic meteorological stations and also a board where will broadcast messages about traffic jams, road accident, and carrying out a roadwork.
