"Kalashnikov" together with Rostelecom-Solar automated access control of employees to information resources

2020: Solar inRights implementation

The Kalashnikov Concern together with Rostelecom-Solar company completed the main stage of system implementation of management of identification data and access (IGA). On September 8, 2020 Rostelecom-Solar reported about it. During the IGA-platform project it was integrated with the main information systems of the organization. The strengthened access control of employees to them provides protection of corporate data against the possible incidents connected with wrong providing excess powers. As the Concern IGA-platform selected the Solar inRights system developed Rostelecom-Solar.

On start of the project before Rostelecom-Solar there was a task to show a set of opportunities of the solution within pilot testing. In 2 months at the enterprise the centralized control system of access with which personnel sources of the company and 2 information systems were integrated was deployed. After testing and the carried-out acceptance tests the project passed into a stage of preparation of industrial start.

During this stage within a year some more business systems were connected to centralized operation and also basic processes of providing access rights to resources on the basis of a role model are automated. Improvement of safety features in the company became a main objective of this stage.

The project was executed within the general strategy of Kalashnikov Concern directed to optimization of production processes and use of the innovative technologies for increase in company performance.

The project is especially interesting that from us it was required to show quickly result on start that the management of Concern could estimate possibilities of our solution in actual practice. We managed it, the Concern made the positive decision on our product. And, as showed project deliverables, we justified the trust put in us – the project is complete. The Kalashnikov Concern and Rostelecom-Solar consider the possibility of further development of the project with the purpose of connection to the IGA-platform of the system of approval of requests for access which is already functioning in the company and also scalings of the solution on affiliated enterprises of Concern.
