2020: KISA implements support a blockchain system of identification of employees
At the beginning of September, 2020 it became known that the Agency of Internet security of South Korea (KISA) will become the first public institution of the country which since October, 2020 will begin use a blockchain system of identification of employees. System management can be exercised using mobile application.
According to Yonhap, the Korean agency of Internet security will release (KISA) KISA Coin tokens, they will serve as remuneration for the best employees. They will be able to use tokens for purchase of food, drinks and also office supplies.
The new system of identification of employees will allow the staff of KISA to use NFC technology by means of scanning of QR codes for access to the jobs through a blockchain platform which will process the database. A new system is not limited only to authentication of identification data as employees should use it for access to cafe in the agency or for obtaining books from library.
COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and also aspiration of the Korean regulator to implementation of contactless solutions within workflows are basic reasons of implementation a solution blockchain.
KISA is going to implement the system of identification of employees on a blockchain first of all in the headquarters in Nadzhu (by October, 2020) then at all the offices in Seol and Pandzhio (at the end of 2020).
The president of the Korean agency of Internet security Kim Sok Khvan noted:
I hope that system implementation of mobile identification of DID in public institution not only will increase the level of comfort and safety of employees, but also will serve as a starting point for start of similar services of authentication in the related organizations.[1] |
