In the Moscow warehouse Revival Express the WMS system "Buhta is started : Warehouse complex". The project was executed by BUHTA company.
Revival Express - Renus Group subsidiary company, one of the largest logistic companies of Europe.
A choice for benefit of this WMS system was made as a result of the detailed multistage tender. According to Olaf Mettsger, the CEO of Revival Express, in the company there is own corporate warehouse program. However in Russia the decision to start independent WMS of local development was made. When choosing a system its compliance to requirements of the company and also openness and flexibility was considered. The ready WMS configuration "BUHTA was as a result selected: 3PL" which allowed to solve problems of the Moscow warehouse without serious completions.
The company used technology of phased transition on a new management system which allows to carry out transition without stopping works of a warehouse. Feature of the project is providing to the company the license for an unlimited number of connections using mobile and personal jobs in one warehouse. It allows within one warehouse, without purchasing additional licenses, to connect any quantity of data collection terminals and to independently expand the WMS system.
