Has degree of the bachelor of mathematics and computer sciences of Duke University and degree of MBA of Harvard. Knows eight programming languages.
In 2010 Sandy Carter worked as the vice president of IBM and also directed division of marketing of SOA and WebSphere and also was responsible for sales in the partner channel. Under its management the partner ecosystem of corporation on SOA grew to 5000 companies.
Till August 30, 2016 held a position of the general manager of IBM on development of an ecosystem and social business.
