2020: Start and system implementation

On September 11, 2020 it became known of start and the beginning of implementation in Russia of the AI system helping farmers to trace the birth of calfs. It is about a product under the name Animal Care: Calving which is brought to the market by Rosselkhozbank together with the resident Skolkovo Connectome.ai company.

The birth rate requires continuous observation from cows. Animal Care: Calving facilitates this process, tracing it by means of computer vision in real time and notifying employees that it releases working time for accomplishment of other tasks and also helps not to lose the potential of health of animals, developers of technology note.

In Russia the AI system helping farmers to trace the birth of calfs is implemented

A system controls an animal status from the beginning of patrimonial activity, fixes and saves all key events in the database and also notifies personnel on change of the status by means of SMS. Besides, a system allows to watch far off behavior and a status of animals online.

The video analytics also fixes arrival of the employee, his stay in a necessary zone and saves information on observance of regulations and accomplishment of compulsory procedures in a personal account. Thanks to it the head can check accomplishment of regulations of a farm and correctness of care of newborn animals.

As  the director of the center of development of the RSHB financial technologies  Elena Baturova, Animal Care use noted: Calving allows to optimize employee occupation, to increase efficiency of their work and, finally, to increase financial performance of country farms.
