The Ekzeplent company entering into the OMEGALLIANCE group implemented the system of operational supervisory control by the equipment of a linear part and compressors of the Nord Stream gas pipeline on section from Pikalyovo to Vyborg in the Leningrad Region. This section is serviced by subsidiary company JSC Gazprom - Gazprom transgaz Saint Petersburg LLC. The project became a key step in the field of creation of control facilities behind trunk transportation of gas in the region.

The implemented system provides tools for operating control behind objects and processes on a linear part of the gas pipeline and in compressor workshops. The created solution allows to control operation modes and a status of technology equipment, to analyze collected data with the work optimization purpose, to trace and localize emergency and emergency situations and also to control onto a gas rate for own needs. In addition, the implemented system allows to trace signals of fire alarm and gas contamination and also provides means and data for control of power supply of objects, amounts of the pollutants which are thrown out to the environment. As a result of the works which are carried out by Ekzeplent company users received a system which provides them with up-to-date, comprehensive and reliable information about the processes proceeding in the section of the pipeline. The data collected at the level of separate compressor workshops are transferred to the Central dispatcher station.

The implemented system of operational supervisory control is a supplier of information for other information systems servicing section. So, the system of modeling and calculations, having obtained from the implemented supervisory control system data in real time, builds on their basis forecasts for further behavior of section in general. In particular, there is an opportunity to predict distribution of pressure and passing of the gas piston by a gas pipeline. On the basis of state-of-health data of technology equipment Gazprom transgaz Saint Petersburg also built an effective monitoring system of state of environment: enterprise information systems use these data for accounting and control of number of the contaminating emissions.

Besides, a new system is involved in learning process of employees, transferring information for the exercise machine of the manager which is used for modeling of working situations and working off of actions of personnel on the basis of real data.

Implementation of modern IT and the advanced engineering developments is the important direction of our work. The implemented system allows to lower a response time on emergency situations, to increase reliability and safety of operation of technology equipment, and, finally, to provide uninterrupted transportation of gas, - noted in Ekzeplent.

The project was executed based on MES- the systems PSI Сontrol the German of the company PSI AG. From outside Ekzeplent participated in creation of a system five people, two of whom were attracted periodically. Works on the project were conducted within two years.
