Implementation of the solution "Personnel management" on the HCM SAP ERP platform on NSMMZ

The CEO of JSC NSMMZ Samsikov Denis considers that the project on the implementing solution "Human capital management" is extremely important for the enterprise: "A new system will allow to make management decisions on the basis of more complete and operational data on structure and personnel turnover. As a result, the HR policy of NSMMZ in a bigger degree will promote achievement of strategic objectives of the enterprise".

Tumanova Lyubov, the deputy CEO for personnel management of JSC NSMMZ, considers that during the implementing solution SAP ERP HCM the whole complex of tasks of unification and standardization of document flow and organizational procedures of personnel management was solved. "It is important to understand that implementation of a new system does not come down to mechanical replacement of one software product with another. During the project the normative handbook data and report forms concerning registration of personnel at our enterprise were significantly revised. Besides, systems capabilities of SAP allowed to optimize the number of specialists of Management of personnel of JSC NSMMZ. In particular, job responsibilities of timekeepers which are as a result requalified in HR officers were significantly expanded", – Lyubov Tumanova noted.

According to the personnel manager of JSC NSMMS Natalya Milyutina, "the developed system provides unity of information generated by specialists of Management of personnel". In a new system the data prepared by employees OOTIZ are available to postprocessing by HR specialists. Thus, repeated information input is excluded, the error probability respectively decreases.

Since the beginning of 2009 in JSC Stoilensky GOK and JSC Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combine works on implementation of other components of a resource management system of the SAP ERP enterprise are conducted. Based on this product processes of management of production, logistics, sales management and purchases, the cost accounting, accounting and tax accounting will be automated. After completion of works the ready-made solution will be replicated on all enterprises of NLMK Group, including JSC NSMMZ. According to the vice president for information technologies of JSC NLMK Vadim Uryas, the Human capital management project is one of elements of an end-to-end system which within several years will be implemented at all enterprises of Group. Thus, the solution on human capital management deployed in JSC NSMMZ is considered as a corporate prototype for business process automation of personnel management at other enterprises entering into NLMK Group.
