Microsoft started beta testing of "cloud" service Windows Intune

The Microsoft company released the beta of the new complete solution Windows Intune for PC infrastructure in the organizations of the average size (25-500 computers). According to the developer, it facilitates control of computers and facilitates their security due to use of cloud services of Windows and Windows 7. It allows users and the PC to work with maximum capacity irrespective of their location. The solution to well limited circle of customers in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The release of the final version of a product is planned in a year.

Windows Intune provides to clients the following advantages:

  • Management of updates – with new service it is possible to manage on a centralized basis installation of updates of Microsoft on all computers.

  • Protection against the malicious software and pro-active monitoring of computers via the online console. Obtaining notifications on updates and threats allow to detect and solve proactively problems on computers before they influence work of users and business of customers.

  • Ensuring remote support – problem solving with the PC irrespective of location of users and IT specialists.

  • Accounting used in the organization program and the hardware optimizes their effective management, licensing and compatibility.

  • Establishment of security policies: Windows Intune allows to manage on a centralized basis updates, the firewall, politicians of protection against the malware even on the remote computers which are out of corporate network.

With a release of the final version of Windows Intune clients will have an opportunity to standardize PC infrastructure, to carry out updating of computers to "Windows 7 Corporate" and to use advantages of this OS.

Besides, the final version of the solution will allow to manage Windows using the tools available on the Internet and supplementing cloud services, helping to diagnose and recover even computers which are not loaded. Clients will have an opportunity to manage group politicians and to unroll virtual applications and operating systems and also to use tools from a set of Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP).
