2020: Start of digital garment factory Xunxi Digital Factory

In the middle of September, 2020 provided to Alibaba the digital garment factory Xunxi Digital Factory to Hangzhou. It is focused on production of small batches of orders at the loyal prices, providing at the same time shorter terms of delivery for producers of clothes.

The factory provides to the small and medium enterprises renting its capacities, the innovation production chain which can be configured completely proceeding from needs of the user. Production areas of Xunxi Digital Factory are equipped with the equipment for cutting, sewing machines and pipelines which users can monitor in the remote mode using the smartphone.

Alibaba started Xunxi Digital Factory garment factory which increases production efficiency by 55%

Thanks to new technologies, including resource providing in real time, planning of processes and expenses, the automated internal logistics and the production operational Xunxi AI system, the production efficiency increases from 25% on average up to 55%.

The chief executive officer of Xunxi Digital Factory Alayne Wu noted:

Data are a core of new production, and use of data is a key to mastering of new opportunities in change of preferences of consumers who now most of all are interested personalized, but not mass goods.

"New production" according to Wu, will allow to transform traditional producers using the technologies based on data in order that they passed to more flexible model of production based on demand in real time.

By estimates of the company, digitalization of the production market can bring to small enterprises and producers of the People's Republic of China more than 30 trillion yuans (more than $4 trillion).^[1]
