2020: Transfer of IT infrastructure to a cloud

PJSC MTS announced on September 21, 2020 project implementation on transfer of IT infrastructure of JSC Corporation of Development of the Far East (JSC KRDV) to a cloud of #CloudMTS provider. Thanks to cloud computing safe data exchange between employees and reliable work of the website of KRDV supporting service for acceptance and processing of requests for obtaining status of the resident of territories of the advancing development and the free port of Vladivostok is provided.

The site of corporation of federal importance which is visited by thousands of Russian and foreign entrepreneurs and investors interested in work in the Far East and in the Arctic "moved" to a cloud of MTS. Migration in a cloud allowed to increase the speed of work of the website, provided high availability irrespective of growth of loading.

Thanks to cloud computing safe file sharing between the staff of JSC KRDV is implemented. It allowed to increase the speed of interaction between inner patterns of the federal company and also to work in the period of the remote mode. Employees use the Disk#CloudMTS service both via the web interface, and in a format of mobile application.

Migration in a cloud helped corporation to increase reliability of work of the major IT resources and to reduce current costs. Now in a cloud our website where electronic services for the companies developing macroregion economy are provided works. Besides, cloud computing helped us to organize safe remote exchange of documents and more flexible management of IT resources. We cooperate with MTS not the first year – before JSC KRDV connected mobile and fixed connection of the operator, – the associate director of department of information technologies of JSC CRDV Sergey Dayneko told.

The trend on transition to clouds becomes stronger. In the first half of the year 2020 the amount of the stored and processed data in a cloud#CloudMTS increased more than by 1.5 times in comparison with the same period of 2019. The example of JSC Corporation of Development of the Far East shows, cloud computing in any sphere is how applicable. Business and government institutions pass into clouds to optimize costs and quickly to react to changes which become more various, – the director of cloud business of MTS Oleg Motovilov noted.
