2020: Announcement of the Pentax EB-J10 bronchoscope

At the end of September, 2020 Pentax Medical provided new bronchoscopes of EB-J10 series. They should provide images of high resolution and are compatible to the new Defina video processor.

According to the press release, bronchoscopes of Pentax of EB-J10 series provide HD visualization of bronchial tubes and also have high ergonomics and controllability. They were specially developed with the emphasis on maneuverability and increase in comfort of the doctor during the procedures.

The ergonomic arrangement of the suction valve and levers provides ease of use. Bronchoscopes of the standard and small sizes (EB19-J10 and EB15-J10) are issued, but all of them have wide instrumental channels, and their design was changed so that to simplify introduction of the device and to provide high capability to aspiration.

Pentax provided the device for visualization of bronchial tubes - Pentax EB-J10

Releasing new bronchoscopes, Pentax Medical at the same time represents the new video processor for pulmonary practice - the EPK-3000 DEFINA system. This system was developed together with bronchoscopes of EB-J10 series and represents the compact and easy processor with expanded functions for optimal clinical support. At the same time new bronchoscopes can be used also with other systems of medical visualization, for example, with OPTIVISTA plus and EPK-i5010 processors.
