2020: Acceleration of processing of accounting documents

On December 1, 2020 Abbyy Russia (Abbyy) reported that it Polymetal, one of the companies on extraction of precious metals, accelerated processing of accounting documents using the universal ABBYY FlexiCapture platform. Now the staff of 10 enterprises of Polymetal in Russia and Kazakhstan does not need to spend time for a reprint of long details from invoices and other primary documents – data are automatically taken and come to the accounting system. It allowed to minimize the errors connected with manual entry, to simplify approval and to optimize accounting process. Through a system there pass more than 13 thousand paper documents a month, or about 840 thousand pages a year.

30 employees of Polymetal use the solution ABBYY FlexiCapture. At one of offices of the company it is enough to user to scan the paper account then in 95% of cases document type definition, recognition and export of data to an electronic document management system are automatic. If there is a need to check recognition of separate characters, a system highlights them. Thus it is possible to obtain quickly expense information and income from all cities of presence, and at the same time not to spend money for delivery of paper documents.
