On September 24, 2020 MTS announced the beginning of installation in cellars of apartment houses of industrial modems. It becomes for the purpose of water consumption control. Within the project which is implemented jointly MTS and the Mezhdurechensk water utility in apartment houses of the city the system of remote data collection from water counters is implemented.
On them the modems allowing to remove and transfer indications in the automatic mode are installed. Thanks to it the human factor is excluded, and process of control of water consumption becomes completely transparent and faultless, told the company.
On MTS network data from modems get on the Teleuchet of Data platform that allows to conduct remote control of operation of technology difficult equipment, to manage it in real time and to inform employees on deviations in water counter parameters: pressure, temperature, expense, quantity. Also on the basis of collected data specialists of a water utility can carry out the analysis and control the volume of the consumed resources that gives the chance to lower costs.
According to the director of Mezhdurechensky vodokanal Municipal Unitary Enterprise Vadim Shamonin, in houses where such smart systems are installed, losses tend to zero, and at emergence of emergency situations there is an opportunity quickly to react to them.
One of problems [with which the management and sales companies — a comment of TAdviser] — irregular transfer of meter readings by residents, manipulations face counters, understating of indications and an overexpenditure of standards — the director of MTS in the Kemerovo region Sergey Zdanovich says. — Often all this leads to exceeding of data of a consumption of water on the all-house metering device in relation to the amount of indications of individual metering devices on average up to 30%.[1] |
