2020: The announcement of the flying camera Always Home Cam

At the end of September, 2020 provided to Amazon the flying camera which begins to patrol the house at signaling operation. The device under the name Always Home Cam is developed in Ring company which the Internet giant absorbed earlier.

As the head of development team of a product Jamie Siminoff told The Verge, Always Home Cam began to create two years ago. But only now new technology achievements in the field of autonomous aircraft allowed to implement all ideas of inventors, he noted.

Provided to Amazon the flying camera which begins to patrol the house at signaling operation

At the first start of the camera drone it is necessary to create model of the house and a route on which Always Home Cam will fly. Also there is an opportunity to set specific points of a route that will allow the user to request a situation in the specific room. In such situation the UAV will go exactly there, will show the picture and then itself will return on base.

The device has also other functions about which developers told on the presentation. For example, setup can assume activation of model not only according to the diagram or the user's request, but also in case of signaling operation. The drone itself flies about obstacles, and its propellers are closed that accidental not to damage anything.

The charging station blocks the drone camera therefore record of video is kept only in flight (as the stationary camera the gadget cannot be used). In addition to security innovation can be useful for accomplishment of other tasks. For example, the user after withdrawal from the house can check whether the plate is switched off, whether the window, etc. is closed. The producer notes that innovation is capable to replace use of several cameras in the house.

Always Home Cam records video in permission 1080p and joins only at take-off. The device will go on sale in 2021. Its cost will be $250.[1]
