Digital certificates at schools of the USA are developed in Russia

At the end of September, 2020 "Lanit" announced project implementation of digital certificates for the American schools. The network of the public and private schools USA Mastery Transcript Consortium with assistance of Italy Lanit-Terkom company started an electronic profile of progress Mastery Transcript which is designed to improve and simplify the procedure of entering higher education institutions.

The digital profile of the pupil acts as an alternative to the traditional annex to the certificate. Instead of estimates and average academic point a set of the competences received studying at high school is presented in the electronic document. Also in it information on progress and a portfolio of the chosen works of the school student is given.

The Mastery Transcript platform consists of two main applications: Mastery Transcript Builder and Mastery Transcript Reader. The first of them, according to developers, has the high scalability and security capable to support fast-growing network of schools consortium members. Besides, the program gives to pupils the chance to manage own online profiles together with teachers and other participants of educational process who check and estimate their work.

Our command was faced by a serious problem by the beginning of academic year to display a full-function product taking into account all features of use at schools: personal data protection, availability from different types of devices, simplicity and a possibility of use by one and all pupils — the director of the department of digital solutions of Lanit-Terkom company Marat Nemeshev says. — Selection committees of the increasing number of the American higher educational institutions accept the certificates of a new sample created using our platform therefore in plans for the next year at us not only development of functionality of users from schools, but also new opportunities for representatives of the universities.[1]
