2020: The announcement of DuraSorb - a grid for healing of wounds

At the end of September, 2020 the Surgical Innovation Associates company provided the resolving DuraSorb grids for healing of wounds after transactions. They provide mechanical support and a support in the first months of healing and formation of hems, thereby preventing many postoperative complications. At the same time grid material gradually resolves and in a year after transaction does not leave any marks.

The grid resolving for 1 year for healing of wounds after transactions on a breast went on sale

The resolving grid of DuraSorb was developed by surgeons, experts in textiles and polymers specialists and represents an alternative to grids from biological materials and to not resolving synthetic grids. DuraSorb is applied according to reconstructive and esthetic indications, including prevention of belly hernia, support of tissue of mammary gland and prosthetics of a mammary gland after radical transaction. For the first time the grid of DuraSorb was registered in Europe in 2018 for support of soft fabrics after transaction.
