2020: Representation of a technique of marking

Special technique of marking and identification of laboratory samples the "Concern Goodwin (Goodwin Europe)" company, the resident of the special economic zone " developed Technopolice "Moscow". On October 5, 2020 the Department of investment and industrial policy of the city of Moscow reported about it. This method of marking of test tubes will allow to automate identification of samples and to accelerate work of laboratories, the Head of Department of investment and industrial policy Alexander Prokhorov told.

In technical solution of marking the ring sector barcode which is applied on an upper surface of a laboratory test tube is implemented. Tags of the code are located in such a way that provide direct visibility of barcodes for all available pool of the test tubes installed in a support. It allows to read out information on all group of samples at once, to select among them necessary and to quickly sort test tubes. Development was presented in September, 2020, also the method will be patented.

At development the big scope, marking can be demanded in any organizations where the large volume of test tubes is used - it is laboratories, hospitals, clinics and pharmaceutical productions. Implementation will allow to automate diagnostics process, having reduced labor input on processing of samples and having reduced number of repeated and duplicative researches. It is a step to digitalization of the medical sphere in general, – the head of department told.

It is possible to mark test tubes both at a stage of their production, and when using in laboratories, the CEO of the SEZ "specified Technopolice "Moscow" Gennady Dyogtev.

This type of marking will allow to store and trace information on a sample status at each stage beginning from production where information on date, the plant, a batch, and transportation is specified, finishing with information on the analysis with the patient's Full Name, an analysis type, date, and utilization of a sample, - he told.

To the solution special mobile application which will be suitable for any type of smartphones is developed. It allows to scan barcodes using the camera and to quickly find the necessary sample. For large volumes of search and sorting the automated complexes are provided.
