The MFC Rostova network transferred IT systems to a cloud of MTS

2020: Organization of cloud IT infrastructure

PJSC MTS, the Russian company on providing digital, media and telecommunication services, announced on October 6, 2020 the final stage of project implementation on the organization of cloud IT infrastructure for network of the multifunction centers of providing the public and municipal services of Rostov-on-Don. MFC is transferred to a cloud #CloudMTS by key IT systems that will allow to increase security and reliability of work. In the project the certified cloud segment which ensures high safety and corresponds 152-FZ "About personal data" and also to requirements to the state information systems is used.

MFC is placed by information systems in the selected cloud segment#CloudMTS which is certified according to requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). The solution allows to provide to the state and commercial customers reliable data protection according to requirements of the Russian legislation for work with the state information systems (SIS). For data access in a cloud of division of MFC use the certified solutions providing reliable protection.

Cloud solutions become more and more demanded not only in the commercial sector, but also among government institutions, municipal authorities, supplier companies household and utilities. We see demand of similar services among the Rostov customers: according to the results of eight months 2020 demand for services of a personal data storage in a cloud grew by a third. Clients should not incur big one-time costs of design and construction of own data centers or purchase of servers, and, further, to provide the necessary level of protection of infrastructure. Our cloud platform conforms to the high quality standards, providing reliable protection of IT systems, – the director of cloud business of MTS Oleg Motovilov commented.

Placement of information systems of MFC in a cloud is implemented within service of "IaaS 152-FZ". The protected segment of a cloud platform#CloudMTS conforms to requirements imposed to the state information systems of the second class of security. The Segment provides the second level of security of the processed personal data. The data security is ensured by the systems of firewalling, the analysis of vulnerabilities and events of security, backup, also means of antivirus protection and cryptographic protection of communication channels.
