The corporate clinic Russian Railway implemented the platform for diagnosis of cancer for $100 thousand.

As it became known on October 7, 2020, the central clinical hospital "RZhD-Meditsina" begins to use in work the new equipment for the analysis of histologic cuts at oncology. It is about the digital platform developed by UNIM company in 2014.

The technology will allow to predict tumor growth rate with a high accuracy. This platform minimizes risk of a medical error and considerably simplifies work of doctors, Vedomosti tells.

The cost of the transaction is $100 thousand. It is the first contract of similar scale for UNIM, the CEO of the company Alexey Remez explained to the edition. In Russia the similar technology is used also for the first time. Around the world there are only three laboratories applying similar solutions.

According to Remez, UNIM sold the software license Digital Pathology without providing the equipment and also the right to integration of future equipment into the software. "Russian Railway Medicine" bought all equipment for the production and performing clinical trials separately.

As the representative of "Russian Railway Medicine" told Vedomosti, the company was attracted by UNIM AI technologya neuronet which by means of computer vision estimates the growth rate of a tumor and an expression of antibodies, saving thereby time of the doctor and significantly chance of an error in forecasts for growth of a new growth.

QR codes are appropriated to the directions of doctors, cuts of fabrics, macrographs of medicines, scans of histologic cuts, the conclusions and other data getting to UNIM base. Information is digitized and stored in a medical profile of the patient in a laboratory system. Such approach became one of functional elements of the software implemented in corporate clinic Russian Railway, Alexey Remez noted.[1]
