2020: Migration on the last release of Nexign Network Monetisation Suite

On October 7, 2020 the Nexign company (enters into ICKX Holding), the system provider of support of business (Business Support System) and platforms of Internet of Things (Internet of Things), announced project completion of migration of subscribers in all branches of the telecom operator Yota on the last release of Nexign Network Monetisation Suite – the multifunction solution for tariffing, formation of charges and management of politicians of quality of provision of services in real time.

Yota became mobile operator who offered the clients the communication packets configured to within minute and gigabyte and the differentiated payment for different types of traffic. The available technological solution did not mean horizontal scaling therefore the scalable and flexible tool became necessary for the company for management of politicians and tariffing in network.

To increase efficiency of the internal processes, Yota selected the product Nexign Network Monetisation Suite including the solutions PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function), RCAF (RAN congestion awareness function) and UDR (User Data Repository).

As a result of project implementation the Yota company received the industrial solution which is completely meeting business needs of the mobile operator. Implementation of Nexign Network Monetisation Suite allowed Yota to start quickly products and services with the minimum costs for their implementation. A system also has a large number of open interfaces and allows to integrate easily services, including with involvement of partners. Thanks to functional and technological capabilities of a product the company maintains high quality of services even with a repeated growth of loading.

After migration on the solution Nexign the Yota company reduced the total cost of ownership (TCO) due to economy on additional licenses of third-party suppliers by 10-20%. Using the function PCRF, Yota also reduced time to market of products and services (TTM - time to market) by 20% and increased fault tolerance by 40% that allows the operator to provide the high level of customer service and to save competitive advantage.

On implementation of Nexign Network Monetisation Suite the product "Designer of Communication", special for telecom market, allowed us to implement the joint project with Nexign and also to save high quality of services with a growth of number of clients. In the last 6 months this software solution passed stress testing: in connection with a pandemic traffic from business applications in network grew by 2.5 times, – Andrey Zhikin, the CIO of Yota company says.

The Nexign project in Yota the telecom operator using a billing system of the third-party supplier has the first implementation of our solution, – Alexey Vedin, the director of products of monetization of Nexign network comments. – Nevertheless, integration into the Yota BSS systems was carried out imperceptibly for subscribers of all branches Yota – without accidents and any breaks in work of the operator. At the same time it was not required to do additional completions in billing or other systems – all needs of the operator were closed by single solution of Nexign.
