2020: The head of Biokad opened the medical center "Yuninova" in St. Petersburg

On October 7, 2020 opening of the research medical center "Yuninova" in St. Petersburg took place. The CEO and the co-owner of pharmaceutical company "Biocad" Dmitry Morozov became his only founder.

As the representative of the new medical center told Interfax, 285 million rubles of borrowed funds are made in the project, the expected payback period, according to preliminary estimates, makes five years.

The new medical institution consists of three body (an out-patient and polyclinic, round-the-clock hospital and the administrative building) located between Engels Avenue, Novorossiyskaya Street and Novosiltsevsky Lane in Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg. The total area of the body is 2.5 thousand sq.m.

The Yuninova center specializes in treatment of oncological, dermatological and rheumatologic diseases. Capacity of the round-the-clock hospital makes 5.47 thousand koyko-days a year, in a day hospital will be able to receive necessary therapy in two changes over 5 thousand patients.

The center noted that in it clinical trials within which patients will be able to get access to the latest medicines which are not in mass market yet will be conducted. In particular, performing clinical trials of 1 phase, bioequivalence, clinical trials 2-4 phases with participation of patients is planned. The website myclinicaltrial.ru representing the aggregator of the conducted clinical trials was started.

Besides, inclusion of the center in the compulsory health insurance system is planned. It is supposed that organization will render paid services on average a price segment.

After opening of the center it was visited by the director of the St. Petersburg TFCMI Alexander Kuzhel and the chief non-staff oncologist of the city Dmitry Gladyshev.[1]
