2020: Development of the VR exercise machine
TPU reported on October 8, 2020 that it together with UNIGINE developed the VR exercise machine for training of operators of chemical productions.
He allows to work an algorithm of actions of technology personnel on installation of the dosed chemical reagents.
On the exercise machine there are training modes (with hints) and testings based on which final assessment and the number of the earned points is displaid. At the same time the exercise machine is realistic: wrong actions can lead to negative effects for the virtual worker — such as electric shock, suffocation, installation ignition.
The exercise machine is a virtual copy of installation of the dosed chemical reagents which is usually used in well clusters, on the equipment for oil preparation, oil refineries. The functionality of installation and its virtual analog consists in pumping into the pipeline or industrial devices of chemical products which prevent complications during the work of wells, corrosion of the pipeline, loss asfalto - resinous and paraffin deposits, change of rheological properties of oil.
In the program of the exercise machine it is put that some element is surely broken: there is no grounding, the bad contact on the lamp and so forth. At each loading the faulty element is selected accidentally.
