2020: Carrying out tender for implementation of ITS

80.8 million rubles will be spent by administration of Oryol for implementation of the first stage of an intelligent transport system. It became known on October 8, 2020.

The management of municipal services of the city of Oryol posted on the official site of state procurements documentation on carrying out the tender for creation of the system providing uniform loading of a transport network on the verge of its capacity and also forecasting of a transport situation. The tender committee will accept requests till October 13, 2020 though earlier was declared that results of purchase will become known on October 9. Most likely, it is connected with the fact that one of bidders filed a complaint to antimonopoly department.

The initial cost of the government contract – 80.8 million rubles. Financing will be performed within the federal project "General-system Measures of Development of Road Economy". As it appears from the tender documentation, the intelligent transport system (ITS) is designed to provide computer-assisted retrieval and acceptance to implementation of the most effective scenarios of management of the transport system of the Oryol city agglomeration. Besides, a system should provide control not only of the movement public, but also transport of emergency services (Ambulance, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations).

The project provides a possibility of information transfer on mobile phones, an output of the text and graphic information about the developing road and transport situation on different information displays, information on existence of empty parking spaces and many other things. Works should be performed till December 21, 2020^[1].
