2020: Start of sales of the Rad-G pulseoxymeter

In the middle of October, 2020 the company Masimo put on the market the Rad-G pulseoxymeter developed at a financial support of Fund Bill and Melinda Gates. Initially it was created for selection check of SpO2 (an oxygen saturation), the frequency of breath, heart rate, the index of perfusion and the index of variability of a plethysmography, but finally can be applied to continuous monitoring of several parameters.

The Rad-G pulseoxymeter can be used both at adults, and at children without additional switching of the sensor. Rad-G can be also connected to any other disposable or reusable sensors of Masimo therefore its application can be considerably expanded and is beyond ordinary functions. Batteries allow the device to work independently within 24 hours that is especially useful in emergency situations and in the conditions of a lack of resources without access to the power supply network.

The Rad-G pulseoxymeter created on Bill Gates's money went on sale

The rubber case protects Rad-G from damages and as the device differs in ease and compactness, it can be used practically anywhere, including offices of general practitioners, organizations of long leaving and out-patient organizations. Doctors can set sound signals for different aberrations and trace a plethysmography wave form on the display with high resolution along with other indicators.
